The Bio-Dex Knock Out Yellow Algaecide is a granular product designed to control and prevent algae growth. The Knock Out Yellow Algaecide also works to maintain clear water in swimming pools.

Keeps swimming pool water clear

To remove visible algae accumulations:

Brush areas affected with algae accumulations.
Add 4oz (2 capfuls) of this product per 10,000 gallons close to the affected areas. For severe accumulations add 6oz per 10,000 gallons.
To activate, add one of the following: 1 pound dry chlorinating compound (calcium hypochorite or dichlorosocyanurate), 2 pounds lithium hypochlorite (35%), 1 gallon sodium hypochlorite (liquid chlorinating compound) 10-12%, 2 gallons sodium hypochlorite (liquid chlorinating compound) 5.25%, or 1 pound potassium monopersulfate per 10,000 gallons of water.

Waste Of Money

Tried using the product twice, both times following the directions to a T, brushed vac, added a seasons worth of chlorine and all I got was the pool turned yellow and the mustard algae was still present, this product did not work for me...
