Applied Biochemists Swimtrine Plus is a powerful, high concentrated algaecide that uses natural copper to kill off mustard and green algae growth. When used regularly, it also prevents the regrowth of all types of algae. Its liquid formula is super concentrated to stretch one bottle for each season in most pools, and needs no special balancing to remain effective. Best of all, Swimtrine Plus is made by Applied Biochemists, a leader in bio-based pool chemicals, allowing you to buy with confidence.

Routine Maintenance:

1.5 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water ever 2 weeks.

Visible Algae Growth:

3 fl oz per 10,000 gallons of water.

Swimtrine Plus comes concentrated. Dilute with at least nine parts of water before applying.
Pour required amount of Swimtrine Plus into a plastic watering can and fill with water
Maintaining continuous pool circulation, sprinkle solution around edge of pool. Apply under sunny conditions for most effective results.

To control black algae, use Applied Biochemists Black Algaetrine as directed on the products label. Once control is obtained, resume regular algaestatic maintenance with Swimtrine Plus algaecide.

Had terrible green algae problem most of the summer. Used initial dose of Pooltrine and problem immediately went away! Other products from different sources didn’t touch it. Coincidence… I think not!

I had a pool maintenance business for 25 years. I used Swimtrine 20 of those years. It contains copper, and copper and algae do not like each other. No pool that I ever took care of got algae. When I would get a new pool that had algae that was one of the first products I added. I have used a lot of others when I first started and NONE work as good as the Swimtrine algaecide.
