Leisure Time Filter Clean is a concentrated formula that quickly and effectively cleans your cartridge, sand, or DE filters of any scale, grease, oils, or impacted dirt, restoring them to optimal efficiency. Simply apply Filter Clean to your filter and let it work overnight. That's it! Even the worst contaminants will be removed. Best of all, Filter Clean is compatible with chlorine, bromine, and biguanide sanitizers, giving you no reason not to purchase this outstanding product.

32 fl oz per 110 sq ft of filter area.

Remove grids or cartridges from filter.
In a clean, plastic pail, bucket or trash can that contains 8 gallons of water, add contents of Filter Clean. (This is enough solution to clean 110 square feet of filter area.)
Place cartridge or grids upright in solution.
Soak for a minimum of 3 hours. For maximum effectiveness, soak overnight.
Remove filter from solution. Hose off filter with high pressure nozzle and replace.

Too pricey

This chemical should be 1/4 the price. At more than $20 a bottle for one use you could bulk buy brand new filters.
