1. Add the recommended dosage of this product during evening hours while pump the filter pump is running.
2. When adding this product to your pool, broadcast the product evenly over a wide area in the deepest part of the pool.
3. If any granules settle to the bottom of the pool, brush to disperse. Use only a clean, dry scoop to measure this product.

Shock Treatment/Superchlorination: Every 7 days, or as necessary to prevent pool problems, shock treat/superchlorinate the pool by adding 1 bag, or 9-16 ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of water to provide 5-10ppm available chlorine. Additional shock treatments may also be required to correct problems which are caused by visible algae, high bathing loads, and heavy wind and rain storms.
