Pristine Blue:
To control algae and nonpublic health bacteria and bacteria that cause odor problems in residential swimming pool, spas and hot tubs:
For Pools:
Apply at a rate of 2 fluid ounces of Pristine Blue per 1,000 gallons of water (20 fluid ounces per 10,000 gallons)
For Spas and Hot Tubs:
Apply at a rate of 6 milliliters of Pristine Blue per 100 gallons of water using supplied measuring cup.
These dosages will yield a rate of 0.9 ppm metallic copper.
Every 14 Days:
Test the copper level using a standard commercial swimming pool copper test kit. Add Pristine Blue to raise level back to 0.9 ppm. The amount of Pristine Blue to be added is proportional to the starting concentration and volume of water. Do not exceed 1.0 ppm metallic copper.
Application and Handling Equipment:
Application, handling or storage equipment MUST consist of fiberglass, PVC, polypropylene, viton, corrosion resistant plastics or stainless steel. Never use mild steel, nylon, brass or copper around Pristine Blue. Always rinse and clean equipment thoroughly each night with plenty of fresh, clean water.
Pristine Check:
For Spas and Hot Tubs:
Apply at a rate of 10 milliliters per 100 gallons of water.
For Pools:
Apply at a rate of 2 ounces per 1,000 gallons of water. In pools wait one day after applying Pristine Check before adding Pristine Blue.
It is essential to backwash or clean the filter after the use of Pristine Check.
Pristine Clean:
For spas and hot tubs apply at a rate of 1 teaspoon of Pristine Clean per 500 gallons of water every 2 weeks. For pools, apply at a rate of 2 ounces of Pristine Clean per 10,000 gallons of water every 2 weeks.
Pristine Clear:
For Pools:
Apply at the rate of 2 ounces of Pristine Clear per 10,000 gallons of water every 2 weeks. Circulate for 24 hours and then backwash the filter to remove and clean the cartridge.
For Spas:
Apply at a rate of 1 teaspoon of Pristine Clear per 500 gallons of water every 2 weeks. Circulate for 4 to 6 hours and then remove and clean the cartridge.
Pristine Extra
For spas or hot tubs, apply at a rate of 5 milliliter or 1 teaspoon of Pristine Extra per 100 gallons of water. For pools, apply at the rate of 1 pound of Pristine Extra per 10,000 gallons of of water in the deep end of the pool. To prevent damage to pool surface, use a pool brush to disperse any granules that may have settle to the bottom of your pool. Never allow undissolved product to rest in contact with bleachable surfaces. In water temperatures less than 70 degrees fahrenheit, or as an alternate application procedure, pre-dissolve the product prior to applying evenly to the deep end of the pool. Dissolve this product outdoors in a clean plastic bucket stirring with a clean plastic or wooden spoon. Add the product to water, never add water to product. Never add more than 1 pound or this product to 3 gallons of cool water. Do not mix with other product when pre-dissolving.
ReEntry:
Reentry into treated pools is prohibited above the levels of 3 ppm of chlorine due to risk of bodily harm.
