Product Description
Simplicity's Super Metal Control gives pool owners to eliminate dissolved metals that can occur in city water, preventing ugly staining from even having a chance to form. Super Metal Control's concentrated liquid formula removes iron, copper, and manganese in pool as well as attacking any stains or discoloration caused by the presence of these metals. This product can also be used as a pre-treatment for upcoming shock or chlorine treatments, preventing any reactions from happening between these chemicals and any dissolved metals, saving you from any potential problems.

Directions

New Pools or Pool Openings: 

  1. To prevent discoloration of the pool water due to trace amounts of iron, copper, manganese and other heavy metals, add 3 oz. for each 1,000 gallons of pool water. 
  2. This addition should be made before any other chemicals are added. 
  3. Recirculate the water to ensure uniform distribution, before proceeding with other chemical additions.

   

Discolored Water: 

  1. Your Simplicity dealer can test the pool water and determine what is causing the discoloration of the pool water. 
  2. If the pool water has less than 1 ppm of the minerals, add 3 oz. of Super Metal Control per 1,000 gallons of pool water. 
  3. For mineral amounts greater than 1 ppm, add 1 qt. of Super Metal Control per 10,000 gallons of water. 
  4. Apply directly to the pool with the pump running. 
  5. Maximum recommended dose is 3 quarts per 10,000 gallons. 
  6. If the pool has been shocked wait 24 to 48 hours before applying this product to obtain maximum effectiveness. 
  7. Product should be added 7 days prior to super chlorination to minimize staining potential.
  8. Test the pH of the water after addition and adjust to 7.2 - 7.6, as necessary. 
  9. Recirculate the water to ensure uniform distribution.
Dosage

New Pools or Pool Openings:

3 oz. for each 1,000 gallons.
