SeaKlear Spa Brominating Tablets

Initial Treatment: 3 tablets per 300 gallons and adjust feeder to obtain a residual of at least 2ppm.
Weekly Maintenance: 3 tablets per 300 gallons every 5 to 7 days maintaining at least 2 ppm bromine residual.

1. Before initially using Brominating Tables in your spa or hot tub you will need to add 1/2 oz. of sodium bromide for each 100 gallons of water.  The same treatment should be followed each time you drain and refill your spa or hot tub with fresh water. 
2. Introduce 3 tablets per 300 gallons of spa water with the use of a floating tablet feeder or automatic brominator installed on the spa equipment. 
3. Adjust tablet feeder or brominator to obtain an active bromine residual of at least 2 ppm. 
4. Maintain spa by adding 3 tablets per 300 gallons every 5 to 7 days or as needed to maintain an active bromine residual of 2 ppm at all times. 
5. Spa water has a tendency to foam and cloud; this is directly proportional to the amount of spa use. 
6. Cloudiness is due to the accumulation of body fats, oils and contaminants too small for the filtration equipment to remove, and is linked to rapid escalation of total dissolved solids in the water. 
7. To a great extent, defoamers, clarifiers, as well as shock treatments, demineralizers or sequestering agents can be used to clear the water. 
8. When water clarification can not be achieved, draining, cleaning, and refilling the spa is recommended.
