Product Information
Robarb's Sticks provide pool owners with a way to disinfect their pools without resorting to constant hand feeding of granular pellets or liquid chlorine to maintain proper levels. Comprised of 90% stabilized chlorine, Robarb's Sticks dissolve slowly and uniformly to keep your pool healthy, and are designed for use with floaters, feeders, and skimmers. This chlorine treatment is compatible with chlorine-based sanitizing systems only.

Product Use

Use this product as an easy and convenient way to sanitize your pool. These tablets are ideal for chlorinators, feeders, floaters, and skimmers.

Directions

  1. Adjust the pool water pH value between 7.2 and 7.8 and total alkalinity between 80 and 150 ppm as determined by a suitable test kit.
  2. Stabilize pool water to at least 30 ppm with stabilizer as directed on the container label.  Thereafter regular use of this product for daily chlorination will provide any needed make-up stabilizer.
  3. Shock treat the pool water to oxidize organic contaminants.  Before using the pool, be certain the chlorine level returns to 1 - 1.5 ppm.
  4. Maintain a free available chlorine level of 1 to 1.5 ppm (as determined daily by a suitable test kit) at all times.  By means of a feeder, float device, or skimmer dispenser, immerse 1 Stick (or as many necessary to maintain the proper chlorine level) for each 5,000 to 10,000 gallons of pool water.  Never add these chlorinating sticks directly into the swimming pool as discoloration of the pool liner or finish may occur.
  5. Shock treat you pool at least twice monthly (more often in sunbelt regions). During hot weather and peak bather loads, shock treat your pool weekly to prevent water cloudiness and algae growth.
