Directions
|
|
Power Blast is a concentrated, dry chlorine agent which helps restore sparkling, clear pool water by reducing organic wastes from such contaminants as suntan lotions, hair spray, cosmetics, urine, perspiration and mucous discharge. Use only as directed. - Adjust the pool water pH to between 7.2-7.6 and total alkalinity to between 80 and 150 ppm as determined by a suitable test kit.
- Use Power Blast at the rate of 1 lb. per 10,000 gallons of swimming pool water. Add total required amount at one time. Scatter the granular product directly over the pool water surface. Use Power Blast only when pool is not in use. It will produce a temporary high chlorine level. Do not enter pool until the chlorine residual has dropped to a level of 2 ppm as determined by a suitable test kit.
- Between Power Blast applications, maintain required 1-1.5 ppm chlorine residual in pool water.
Never mix Power Blast with any other chemicals. Do not use in feeder, float or skimmer. Always mix only with pool water by scattering product over pool surface. Winterizing: - While water is still clear nad clean, apply 0.6 oz. of product per 1000 gallons, while filter is running, to obtain a 3 ppm available chlorine residual, as determined by a suitable test kit.
- Cover pool, prepare heater, filter and heater components for winter by following manufacturers instructions.
