Rendezvous Activate is a fast-dissolving, non-chlorine shock oxidizer that quickly destroys contaminants such as perspiration and cosmetics that cause odors and skin and eye irritation. This product will not upset water chemistry balance. It is comprised of a dual action formula which means that this product "activates" Rendezvous Enhance into a bromine sanitizer and it works as a shock oxidizer. Activate is compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone, and mineral purification systems.

Directions
|
- Activate should be added initially when the spa/hot tub is filled and daily as shock treatment and as an activator for the production of available bromine in water containing enhance.
- Initially, treat the water with Protect Plus and Enhance according to directions on the labels.
- Then, add Activate (4 oz. per 250 gallons) to shock the spa/ hot tub water and to release available bromine in water containing enhance.
- Daily, thereafter, when the spa/hot tub or therapeutic pool is shut off, add Activate (2 oz. per 250 gallons).
- Test the bromine residual with a bromine/pH test kit after the Activate has been added and allowed to circulate for 15 minutes.
- The residual must be maintained between 1-3 ppm for residential and 3-5 ppm for commercial installation.
