Initial Dose
Add stabilized chlorine daily. Adjust pH level to 7.2 to 7.4 prior to shocking the pool once per week with unstabilized liquid or dry chlorine. Add this product within 8 hours after shock treatment.
For pool with no visible problems add 5 fluid ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water. For a green-cloudy pool, adjust the pH to between 7.2-7.4 and shock with a liquid or dry chlorine and then immediately add 5 fluid ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water.
Maintenance Dose
Use 2 ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons every 5 days. If water temperature is greater than 82 degrees F increase dose to 3 ounces per 10,000 gallons every 5 days.
After heavy rains or heavy swimmer loads, add 3 ounces per 10,000 gallons.
