Leisure Time Mineral Purifier Spa Care Kit contains everything you need to quickly start up and maintain your spa throughout the year, virtually eliminating any need for further chemical purchases. It includes a full complement of clarifiers, enzyme cleaners, pH increasers and reducers, spa cover treatments, foam removers, test strips, Brom Tab floater, sodium bromide, and even a rubber ducky in case your feeling lonely. Bromine Deluxe Spa Care Kit also contains a mineral purifier cartridge to drastically reduce the need for bromine, giving your spa softer, more natural water quality that bathers will love. This kit will take all the guesswork out of spa maintenance, saving you hours of time and frustration.

Directions

To start treating your pool with bromine, follow these simple steps: - Begin by adding half an ounce of Sodium Bromide for every 100 gallons of water to establish an initial bromide reserve in the water. For your convenience, your spa care kit includes a floater filled with Brom Tabs. Follow the directions on the floater for the correct application.
- Next, test the water with the supplied test strips to ensure the spa pH and alkalinity are with the proper ranges. The pH should be between 7.2 to 7.8 while the alkalinity should read between 80 and 120 ppm. You should also make sure your calcium hardness level is between 150 and 400 ppm and the sanitizer level is 3 to 5 ppm.
- Once the water is balanced, the last step is to shock your spa water using Renew or Renew Tabs. During normal spa use, body oils, lotions, and other contaminants can enter the water. When they build up, the water can become cloudy and hazy. Destroy these impurities by using these products after each use or once per week.
