Its powerful liquid formula is a sequestering agent that binds together any dissolved metals and calcium that can cause problems, allowing you pool filter to quickly remove them. It is highly effective at controlling plaster dust during pool start-ups, and is compatible with all sanitizer systems, including saltwater systems. In fact, using The Magenta Stuff will actually help extend the life of saltwater pool's chlorine generators by keeping scale at bay. Best of all, this product features Phos-Stop Plus, a unique additive that not only adds no extra phosphates to your pool, but actually lowers the amount already in the pool, preventing algae growth.

Initial Dose:
Add one quart (32 oz.) per 15,000 gallons of pool water.
Maintenance / Prevention:
Add 6 to 8 oz. per 15,000 gallons of pool water on a weekly basis to help prevent staining and scaling in a properly balanced pool. Please have your water tested by a pool professional on a regular basis. A Jacks Magic Professional Test Kit is highly recommended for accurate testing results.
Stain Removal:
In certain instances The Magenta Stuff can be used to reduce the severity of a stain over time. In order to determine the appropriate method of removing an existing stain, use a Jacks Magic Stain ID Kit.
