Dosage
Initial Dose: 1 qt. per 10,000 gallons of pool water. In problem areas, 2 quarts are recommended. Maintenance: Maintain a level of 10-12 ppm. If unable to test this level an estimated dosage of 6-8 oz. per 10,000 gallons per week may be added.

Use this product to aid in the prevention and removal of stain and scale in plaster, vinyl, and fiberglass pools.

Directions
Maintenance/Prevention: Maintenance levels for The Blue Stuff are 10-12 ppm. To determine the amount of The Blue Stuff to add to achieve this level, have pool water tested weekly with a Jacks Magic Sequest Test kit. If a Sequest Test is not available, an estimated dosage of 6-8 oz. of The Blue Stuff per 10,000 gallons of pool water may be added on a weekly basis. Please keep in mind that it is strictly an estimate and the only way to accurately determine the appropriate dosage is to have it tested. Stain Removal: In certain instances, The Blue Stuff can be used to reduce the severity of a stain over time. In order to determine the appropriate method of removing existing stains use a Jacks Magic Stain ID Kit.

Be Careful With This One!
I discontinued use of this product. It contains phosphonic acid which serves to increase phosphate levels in the pool water. And phosphates are food for algae. |
