Jacks Magic Purifiber's formula attracts metals in water to the filter elements, eliminating the need for chemical treatments that can throw your systems pH or alkalinity balance. Dosage
Pre-Coat Filters: Replace D.E. with Purifiber. Cartridge Filters: 4 oz. per 25 square feet of cartridge filtering area. Sand Filters: 4 oz. per 50 lbs. of sand contained in the filter.

Directions
Pre-Coat Filters: After all exhausted filter media has been backwashed from the filter, slowly pour the appropriate amount of Purifiber into the skimmer while circulation system is operating. Note: Slight agitation of Purifiber is suggested when adding to skimmer box. Cartridge Filters: To enhance cartridge filter performance and aid in cleaning, add up to 4 oz. (2 cups) of Purifiber per 25 square feet of cartridge filtering area. Only add if cartridge is clean and free of oil and dirt. Clean cartridge if necessary by soaking in an apporopriate cleaning solution. After pool water clarity is achieved, remove dirty cartridge and clean again to remove all dirt, debris, and exhausted Purifiber. Use on a continuous basis to protect cartridge and assist in cleaning. Sand Filters: To enhance pool clarity with a sand filter, add 4 oz. (2 cups) of Purifiber for every 50 lbs. of sand contained in the filter. Reduce flow. Allow pump to circulate to achieve several pool water turnovers or until water clarity is achieved. After water is clear and/or the sand filter backwash is indicated, back flow the sand filter to remove dirt, debris, and dirty purifiber.
