Hayward Perflex is an extended cycle D.E filter. The Perflex line cleans fast, removing the smallest of particles from your pool water. This Hayward product also does not need to be backwashed saving gallons of treated pool water. This equipment can also go longer between cycles because of its patented flex tube design which allows for reuse of the D.E. powder.

Hayward DE: The only way to go....
For the past 6 years I have been using a cartridge type filter. It worked well, but the cartridge was very expensive; $150 each and I had to replace it every year and half or so, plus maintenance was tedious. And my Proline pump was very loud. After reading great things about the Hayward DE system, I decided it was time to upgrade. Wow.... What a difference. I got the EC50 with 1/5 hp and it was very very quite. And using AquaPearl DE, my pool has never been so clear. Last year my pump died before I could do my closing procedure and cleaning. So when I opened it this summer, I knew it was going to be green, but it did not know it was going to be this bad. But after a bag of AquaPearl and 5 days of cleaning, my pool is better than ever. And during the many regenerations (aka bumping), cleaning and pre-coatings I did. This was the easiest to use, Great Job Hayward and Poolgeek in helping with my pool needs.
