HTH Spa Brom Start

1. Sodium Bromide is not a disinfectant.  It is used to establish a reserve of bromide in spa or hot tub water. 
2. It is necessary to use a sanitizer to disinfect the water. 
3. Sodium Bromide is recommended for use with Brominating Tablets. 
4. Add 1/2 ounce of Sodium Bromide per 100 gallons of spa water to establish a 30 ppm (parts per million) bromide reserve before using Brominating Tablets for the first time, and whenever the spa or hot tub is drained and refilled. 
5. When used with Brominating Tablets, Sodium Bromide will ensure that the disinfection of spa or hot tub water is completely bromine-based and will eliminate chlorious odors.

1/2 oz per 100 gallons is necessary to establish a 30 ppm bromide reserve which can later be activated with Brominating Tablets.
