Its granular formula dissolves quickly to start bringing your alkalinity into balance, which will save you considerable time during routine maintenance by preventing pH bounce, causing pH levels to fluctuate constantly, making proper water balancing all but impossible. After application, your pool will be chemically stable, enabling sanitizers and other chemicals to work at peak performance as well as giving swimmers much more comfortable water with minimal eye and skin irritation. Directions

- Use a reliable test kit to measure the total alkalinity concentration of your pool water.
- If the alkalinity is below 60 parts per million (ppm), add this product.
- Distribute into the deep end of your pool.
- Use the dosage chart to determine the correct amount of HTH Alkalinity Plus needed.
Important: If total alkalinity is too high, your pH will not adjust easily. This may cause cloudy water or scale to develop. To lower total alkalinity, add HTH pH Minus. Follow label directions on that product.
