Ingredients
HTH 6 Way Test Kit uses bottles filled with specific chemical solutions that react with pH, alkalinity, chlorine, bromine, hardness, and cyanuric acid to give you an accurate picture of your spa or hot tubs overall health.

Product Use
Use this product as part of your routine maintenance schedule to keep your spa or hot tub looking and operating at its peak.

Directions
Total Chlorine/Total Bromine Test: - Rinse and fill chlorine/bromine (Cl/Br) cell to mark with water to be tested.
- Add 5 drops OTO.
- Cap and invert to mix.
- Match color in cell with a sanitizer color standard.
- Record as parts per million (ppm) total chlorine or total bromine.
Total Alkalinity Test:
- Rinse and fill sample tube to 25 mL mark with water to be tested.
- Add 5 drops Alkalinity Indicator.
- Swirl to mix.
- Sample should turn green.
- Add Alkalinity Titrant dropwise.
- After each drop, count and swirl to mix until color changes from green to red.
- Multiply drops in Step 3 by 10.
- Record as parts per million (ppm) total alkalinity as calcium carbonate.
pH Test:
- Rinse and fill pH cell to mark with water to be tested.
- Add 5 drops of Phenol Red.
- Cap and invert to mix.
- Match color in cell with a pH color standard.
- Record as pH units.
- If sample color is between 2 values, pH is average of the two.
Total Hardness Test:
- Rinse and fill sample tube to 25 mL mark with water to be tested.
- Add 5 drops Hardness Indicator.
- Swirl to mix.
- Sample should turn red if hardness is present.
- Add Hardness Titrant dropwise.
- After each drop, count and swirl to mix until color changes from red to blue.
- Multiply drops in Step 3 by 10.
- Record as parts per million (ppm) total hardness as calcium hardness.
Cyanuric Acid Test:
- Rinse and fill CYA dispensing bottle to 7 mL mark with water to be tested.
- Add Cyanuric Acid Reagent to 14 mL mark.
- Cap and mix for 30 seconds.
- Slowly transfer cloudy solution to CYA view tube until black dot on bottom just disappears when viewed from the top.
- Read tub at liquid level.
- Record as parts per million (ppm) of cyanuric acid.
