| BioGuard Balance Pak 200 raises pH in pool water. Keeping your pool's pH level balanced helps prevent equipment corrosion, etching of plaster, and wrinkling of liners caused by low pH. It is also important to swimmer comfort as it prevents eye irritation due to low pH. In addition, many algaecides require the pH to be balanced in order to work properly. Dosage
1 lb. per 10,000 gallons of water maximum treatment

Product Use
This product is used to raise the pH level in pool water.

Directions
To raise pH, distribute a maximum of one pound per 10,000 gallons of water, directly into the deep end of the pool. Allow water to recirculate two to three hours, recheck pH, and repeat treatment if necessary. The Multi-Test 1200V kit incorporates an alkali demand test which calculates the total amount of this product needed to bring the pH into the proper range. When using the Multi-Test 1200V, follow maximum one time treatment recommendations and applicatoin technique described in above paragraph. If pool capacity is unknown, retest pH prior to further additions.

raising the ph
i have a problem with my pool always requiring ph, a ton of it, early in the season, and although i have to use a lot of this product, it does get the levels of ph to where it has to be. Ph is very important to the overall functioning of a pool. If the ph is not balanced, a lot of things can go wrong with the water and the pool parts. |
