Directions
1. Dip entire strip into water and remove immediately. 2. Hold Strip level for 15 seconds (do not shake excess water from strip). 3. Compare Total Bromine, Free Chlorine, pH, and Total Alkalinity pads (in that order) to color chart on label. Total Bromine is sanitizer residual in the water. Maintain a level of 1-3 for residential pool or 2-4 for spas. If too low, add BioGuard Brominating products for pools or SpaGuard Brominating products for spas. Free Chlorine is the sanitizer residual in the water. Maintain a level of 1-3 ppm for residential pools or 2-5 for spas. If too low, add BioGuard Clorinating products for pool or SpaGuard Chlorinating products for spas. pH should be kept between 7.2 and 7.4 for best results. If too high, add BioGuard Lo N Slo for pools and BioGuard pH Decreaser for spas. If too low add BioGuard Balance Pak 200 for pools and SpaGuard pH increaser for spas Total Alkalinity is a very important measure of the waters ability to resist pH swing. It should be between 125 ppm and 150 ppm. If to high, add BioGuard Lo N Slo for pools and SparGuard pH Decreaser for spas. If too low add BioGuard Balance Pak 100 for pools or SpaGuard Total Alkalinity Increaser for spas.
