| Applied Biochemists Shocktrine is a 100% potassium monopersulfate non-chlorine shock oxidizer that destroys non-filterable organic contaminants such as cosmetics, perspiration, hairspray, suntan oil, urine, and leaves. It prevents the formation of combined chlorine that causes skin and eye irritation, cloudiness and odors. This product allows swimming immediately after treatment. This product is formulated not to bleach vinyl liners. Shocktrine is also compatible with pools sanitized with chlorine, bromine and ozone, but may not be used with pools sanitized with biguanide products. |  |
Dosage
Light Pool Use: 1 lb. of Shocktrine per 10,000 gallons of pool water every 2 weeks. Heavy Pool Use: 1 lb. of Shocktrine per 10,000 gallons of pool water every week.

Product Use
Use this product on a regular maintenance schedule to prevent pool clouding, and to prevent the formation of combined chlorine. Compatible with Chlorine, Bromine, and ozone sanitizers.

Directions
Maintaining continuous pool circulation, distribute required amount of shocktrine in the deep end of pool. Shocktrine is inteded only for shock oxidizing pool water. It is not a disinfectant and does not replace the need for regular application of a swimming pool sanitizer. It is necessary to maintain regular chlorine levels when using shocktrine.
